International flights: Nigerian govt gives latest update ahead of August 29 resumption

 As Nigeria prepares to resume worldwide flights on August 29, the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, says the country will practice the principle of reciprocity.

Speaking on the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 daily briefing on Thursday in Abuja, Sirika explained that this principle intended carriers from all countries that banned flights from Nigeria could additionally now no longer be allowed to fly into Nigeria.

Sirika was represented at the briefing by the Director General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Musa Nuhu.
